Preparing the first seedbed in the greenhouse. Two more will follow.
These rocks were given after the Arts Festival last weekend.
You may have to strain your eyes to see, but there is a sprout poking up through the mulch.
This is *the* community garden. The clearing of it has begun, and the roto-tiller in the background will be brought to bear against it during the Feb. 21 meeting.
Here you can see that that the cinder-blocks around the raised beds were filled with soil, and you can see Rachel planting some flowers and herbs in these hollows. Several such flowers and plants were put in place by Alexis and Rachel.
